My Gluten-Free Hanukkah Adventure…
We are a gluten-free family by necessity. Two out of the three of us have Celiac Disease. Our daughter, who is affected, has other dietary restrictions due to intolerance and the vast majority of gluten-free offerings aren’t suitable.
My favorite bread recipe is a modified version of Bette Hagman’s Challah recipe.
I’d never tried making sufganiyot for Hanukkah before today. I modified a recipe I found on Tablet Magazine. My modified version came out OK for a first try, but not enough for me to share anything more than a picture. I’ll keep trying, though, and when it is good enough, I will share my recipe.
