Charles Blow of the New York Times faced off with conservative Dan Bongino on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 on Wednesday over whether an inherent racial “bias” against blacks in American society fed into the controversial case of a NYPD officer choking Eric Garner to death during an arrest. Does anyone believe these people, including former Congressman Joe Scarborough took the time to read through the copious amounts of evidence released by Robert McCulloch? No? That was McCulloch’s point in flooding the jury with it and after the verdict, the rest of us.

Earlier today, I wrote that Officer Darren Wilson’s newly released account of his altercation with Michael Brown was unbelievable. Which isn’t to say it was wrong. It was just hard to believe that events played out exactly as Wilson described.

Don’t let yourself get lost in the weeds. Don’t allow yourself to believe that opposition to President Obama’s executive actions on immigration is only about that issue, the president’s tactics, or his lack of obsequiousness to his detractors.
The administrative relief measures that President Barack Obama announced Thursday will benefit an estimated four million undocumented immigrants living in the United States. This long awaited measure came several months after the president promised to take executive action in the absence of any cooperation by an obstructionist Congress to pass legislation.
